ACT 1 IS NOW COMPLETE!! We're now ready to move into Act 2! It's been a fun few months so far and I'm excited to keep this story going! I'll be taking a short break for a couple of weeks to refresh, then I'll start working on storyboards and pre-planning for Act 2. Overview

"SONICKADE2048" is a story about a human experiencing a life-changing video game. What seems fun and fictional suddenly breaks the walls of reality by tearing into his real life. His copy of the game his friends love playing, "SBURB", almost felt like a bootleg or prototype, but while everyone was partying in a virtual world, his own suburban house is ripped apart by his own actions. Now he must enter The Medium and travel to Skaia the same way digital players have, infecting the real world with the game's mechanics and trying to make sense of it all.

Creation

This is a fan-fiction project based on the webcomic Homestuck by Andrew Hussie. No infringement of copyright, trademark or otherwise is intended. This was made for fun and entertainment. This project is solo-led by BracketBuster (the one writing this!) and was made as part of The 2024 Homestuck Fan-Venture Jam. After it ended, the project was continued into its own larger story.

The main story (as of writing) is 50 pages long and can be accessed by the blue "BEGIN GAME" link above. I HIGHLY recommend finishing the story before accessing the rest of the site, as you'll spoil yourself! Be sure to save your progress too so you don't have to dig through your browser history!

There's plenty of extra stuff to check out, such as the comic's soundtrack (though it's still pretty small), the roadmap for the future, character descriptions and more! You can access it from the navigation bar at the top of the page, which is available at any time across the website. You might even find secrets if you dig around enough!
