> For April Fool's 2024, Kirb looked back on a submission he made to [VvvvvaVvvvvvr] under the title ["CRUSTFUCKTALE OST - this is EPICCITY TOWN!!"]. This was, as Kirb stated, an original song he composed at night out of boredom. He decided expand on this idea by adding more songs and styling it like an Alternate Universe. This eventually led to "CrustBunk" and 11 new tracks, alongside character designs & a reveal trailer.

> After the final video was uploaded, Kirb posted [this tweet] on New Year's Day to introduce a small ARG for more story context. A full breakdown was made in The NegaDrive.
> Curiously, Flipnote #004 has a rare instance of a Kade clone (of which the SonicKade sona can technically be considered one) showing off their reptilian form after the 2019 transformation. However, the depiction is vague to the point of arguably not being SonicKade, Flipnote's limitations not helping either. The only other recorded instance of a Kade clone showing their reptile body was Anti-Kade in 2019, but Kirb has gone on record saying he wants to remedy this.
> The lead creator of the fan-made project "UNDERTALE YELLOW: Halloween Hack" asked for permission to use Your Mysterious Friend (Alpha Version) in one of their episodes, to which Kirb agreed. [It can be heard here.]
