[LIST OF UPLOADS FOR EVENT TAKING PLACE ON MAY 25TH, 2024]
OVERVIEW OF EVENT:
>>> An event was held on May 25th, 2024 to celebrate the 3rd anniversary of the ripping fan-channel [TheScrig]. The channel became noteworthy for its varied, sporatic and pattern-breaking style of uploads compared to others in the scene. Its uploads are comprised of samples of people or songs, original compositions or arrangements of existing songs, and lots of tough-to-describe editing of said audio, typically distorting it. Kirb attempted to study and copy this format-lacking format (pardon the wordplay) and incorporate his own uploads/sources into it.
>>> Due to the unique nature of this event, this page will require a format change for ease of reading. The information for each video will be listed in the upper half of the page while summaries will be listed in the bottom half, matching each rip.
>>> As well, contrary to [TheScrig]'s uploads, most if not all of the rips share a theme in their metadata, such as the Composer name connecting to the thumbnail. This will be pointed out when necessary. Finally, every video has a maximum video quality of 360p, paralleling some of [TheScrig]'s uploads once again.

They were discovered by Albert von Kölliker in 1857 in the voluntary muscles of insects. The term mitochondrion was coined by Carl Benda in 1898. >>> With that out of the way, the rips can be described as follows:
>>> Here you can find a selection of mostly Nintendo video game music.
> The rip is 5 minutes of tones generated in Audacity and edited throughout. The first tone plays normally, slowly speeds up to two different intervals, plays a bit of static as well, then gets interrupted by a metallic-sounding tone. It slows down abruptly and deepens its pitch before scrambled tones play over it in random intervals. More static is heard in bursts before it begins speeding up and increasing in pitch, then cuts out after some time. The rip remains silent before a sharp, high-pitched tone plays at the end.
> The title and track name sample the channel description of [SiIvaGunner]. Kade's name is listed as the composer and the thumbnail is of Kirb: Adventure in Funland.
>>> Wow insensitive, I might just unfriend you for that
> The rip plays another, more garbled tone which immediately speeds up and increases in pitch, slows down and lowers its pitch, speeds up while still lowering its pitch to become a low rumble, then stagnates until the rip ends. This one is much shorter at 1 minute and 34 seconds.
> The title and track name sample bits of text from Episode 4 of Animator VS. Animation by [Alan Becker]. Kurson's name is listed as the composer and the thumbnail is of Kirb's Return to Funland.
>>> Can you believe it guys? Christmas! Just a week away! Christmas is in a week!
> The rip is a barrage of garbage noise musical tones that only last for 27 seconds. Analyzing the instrumentation, this was likely made in BeepBox/JummBoxx.
> The title and track name directly cite the TikTok meme of "Christmas, just a week away!", especially since it had made multiple appearances on Kirb's channel by that point. Chisk's name is listed as the composer and the thumbnail is of BERRYTALE.
>>> L-Look! The McGangBang is really good despite the odd name!
> The rip plays a sample of ["[Remix] Mega Man Battle Network 4 - In The Room"] paulstretched out to 9 minutes and 47 seconds.
> The title and track name are a reference to the first (aside from the introduction) entry in the webcomic [MEDIOCRE RIDE]. Asriel's name is listed as the composer and the thumbnail is of yeretbral.
>>> FIRE IN THE HOLE
> The rip plays Error in My Code in full with some of its bars shifted around.
> The title and track name reference a then-relevant Geometry Dash meme. Viru's name is listed as the composer and the thumbnail is of SonicKade Advance.
>>> Whopper Whopper Whopper Whopper
> The rip messes with the sound of the cellar door opening in ["Petscop 2"]. It plays the sound normally a set amount of times before changing its pitch, then going silent for a short while. It then extends the tones out longer to play the full melody with, and the rip ends. This spans 1 minute and 34 seconds.
> The title and track name reference a commercial from Burger King that became a trending meme at the time. Tiffature's name is listed as the composer and the thumbnail is of Through the Plains Fusion Collab.
>>> Half a car
> The rip plays Balanced Bond at a faster tempo, higher pitch and with high reverb.
> The title and track name reference separate inside jokes by the user [SimpleFlips]. Audrey Ronan's username, "AudeRevenant", is listed as the composer and the thumbnail is of Super Mario Maker 2: The Funland Mod.
>>> no clue where ur from but im portuguese
> The rip is an original composition in JummBox with no recognizable melodies. The notes have no clear pattern nor key and seem to have been placed randomly. The drums are also louder than the notes and drown out the melodies. It repeats the same bars for 2 minutes and 37 seconds.
> The title and track name reference a then-relevant Twitter meme with the punchline changed via an inside joke between friends. Kade's name is listed as the composer; however, it uses a lore-specific first name relevant to his history. The thumbnail is of Funland Redux.
>>> Firey Fist O' Pain
> The rip attempts to recreate ["Problem Fixer (Removed Version) - Kirb: Adventure in Funland"] with the melodies of the new version of Problem Fixer and its Funland Redux variant. The song length and tempo remain the same, but the mixing is inaccurate.
> The title and track name reference the Spongebob Squarepants episode "Roller Cowards" from Season 5. Kade's mother's name is listed as the composer and the thumbnail is of Kade's Adventure in Funland.
>>> Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious
> The rip simply plays the dialogue to the Introduction cutscene of Kirb: Nightmare in Funland, sped up to the length of 1 minute and 4 seconds.
> The title and track name reference the famous word and song of the same name from Mary Poppins. Kade's father's name is listed as the composer and the thumbnail is of Kade's Return to Funland.
>>> (the thrill of being alive.) (some poetic shit like that.)
> The title and track name reference dialogue from [this video] on [VvvvvaVvvvvvr]. The rip plays Moving in the Dark by Neon Trees with heavy echo, reverb, increased tempo and a lower pitch.
> Necro's name is listed as the composer and the thumbnail is of My Little Pony: A Whole New Universe.
>>> YoureGonnaGoFarKid_TheOffSpring[360p_320kbps]mp4swfavi_Copy__1_.mp4
> The rip plays You're Gonna Go Far Kid by The Offspring with heavy bitcrush, increased tempo and a higher pitch.
> The title and track name reference generic offline filenames when downloading files from existing places online, such as YouTube video downloaders, though this could also be alluding to torrented files with similar titles. Twilight's name is listed as the composer, albeit using her original last name rather than Necro's after their marriage. The thumbnail is of Kade's Adventure Through the Multiverse.
>>> Alternate Universes are nothing new. They change the worl
> The rip plays a very slowed-down and pitched-down version of the Waterfall music box from UNDERTALE, overlayed with some ambient static that has also been slowed and pitched down.
> The title and track name reference ["Let me tell you a story..."], which was posted the month prior. Cloud's name is listed as the composer and the thumbnail is of Super Cloud Adventure; specifically, it uses a widescreen edit of its title screen on Scratch compared to its official thumbnail on Kirb's channel.
>>> but in the style of if it was good every other beat is
> The rip plays various drum samples pre-packaged with FL Studio, increasing in pitch and tempo. Some of them are intentionally loud to try to jumpscare the viewer with. This goes on for 59 seconds.
> The title and track name reference then-relevant YouTube video titles of users making rip-adjacent content by changing more basic elements of a song, such as its key or beat patterns. Thunder's name is listed as the composer and the thumbnail is of Super Cloud Adventure Redux.
>>> The clock stopped ticking, forever ago. How long have I been up? I don't know...
> Even more FL Studio drums are played, this time being sped-up to an undiscernable degree. This is likely meant to mimic the "amen break" style of drumming, intentionally executed poorly. A loud beep with also plays at the end.
> The title and track name reference ECHO by Crusher-P. Jett's name is listed as the composer and the thumbnail is of SwapKirb (2024).
>>> A mitochondrion is an organelle found in the cells of most eukaryotes, such as anima
> The rip is a heavily-bitcrushed sample of unknowable audio. It only plays for 32 seconds and is likely meant to be unclear on purpose.
> The title and track name cite the Wikipedia page for mitochondria, referencing the odd meme status of mitochondria via the phrase "The mitochondria is the powerhouse of the cell". Pumpers's name is listed as the composer and the thumbnail is of yerettraveler.
>>> We haven't been properly introduced, have we?
> The rip is another FL Studio project, this time using instruments from Super Mario World to mimic the melodies of Witch Doctor by The Cartoons to reference ["Athletic Theme (PAL Version) - Super Mario World"]. Some of the notes are off-key and the chosen instruments do not match the original rip, and the audio has been greatly compressed in its EQing.
> The title and track name cite Viru's Act 1 script from Kirb: Nightmare in Funland. Kade's name is listed as the composer, using his older moniker before he was renamed to Kade in 2018. The thumbnail is using the thumbnail format from [The Channel's 7th Anniversary], removing the text.
>>> LeaderShip Devving (formerly Leadership Incorporated) is a game development studio
> The rip is a slowed and pitched-down version of Rapacious Reptilian Rage.
> The title and track name cite an unknown entry describing a fictional game studio within Kirb's multiverse. Two of Kirb's old usernames are listed as the composer, being "KirbyMorphs4MLPRP" from ROBLOX and "KirbyLover2048" from afterward before he changed to SonicKade2048. The thumbnail is of [this image]. Maybe you can find this entry about LeaderShip somewhere else on the site...?
>>> Cyrillic script
> The rip plays the sound effect used by the Gravity Coil on ROBLOX, then goes quiet for a few seconds. It then begins playing the melody of the Wellerman sea shanty using the Gravity Coil's sound as a sampled instrument.
> The title and track name cite another Wikipedia page, this time about Cyrillic. Kade's phiDOT mimic's name, Zeta, is listed as the composer and the thumbnail is of phiDOT, fitting since it's where Zeta came from.
>>> A place called home
> The rip plays multiple sound effects from Mario Paint with large amounts of distortion at a slowed speed and lower pitch. This goes on for 45 seconds.
> The title and track name cite [this ROBLOX game] that was built for Kirb: Nightmare in Funland. Spacia's, Hariet's and Jumber's names are listed as the composer and the thumbnail is of CONFINED ATONEMENT, fitting since they are the project's protagonists.
>>> Invisible man
> The rip plays multiple variations of chiptune tones that increase in pitch and repeat. This also goes on for 45 seconds.
> The title and track name reference the song Invisible Man by Scatman John. Kade's main robot counterpart's name, Krux, is listed as the composer and the thumbnail is of Kade Evolution (2023), the story Krux was made for.
>>> OOOOOUUUUUUUUUUUGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
> This is another original composition with no known original melodies, using soundfont banks in FL Studio. Analyzing the audio, it appears to only use the set of instruments used in Super Mario 64.
> The title and track name are simply generic yelling onomatopoeia. Kirb's original ponysona's name, Gust Wing, is listed as the composer and the thumbnail is of Rock Bottom (2023).
>>> Central Cross City
> The rip is a sped-up, very distorted and re-pitched version of [""Your New Hell" ~ Adventure in Funland x UNDERTALE"]. Seemingly, it does not keep one continuous pitch and decides to change with each section of the song. This may need to be inspected further to clarify.
> The title and track name reference official writing describing the same location in Aethera, the world OuterLegends is based on, made by one of Kirb's friends. Rikh's name is listed as the composer, as Kirb made Rikh for Aethera, and the thumbnail is of OuterLegends (2023).
>>> Near-endless magic, high levels of agility, and known to
> The rip overlays every Day (normal) version of the level themes for Super Mario Maker 2: The Funland Mod. All 10 tracks + the title screen song are playing at the same time at an increased tempo.
> The title and track name reference older, now-outdated NegaDrive logs about Kade. SoniKorrupt's name is listed as the composer and the thumbnail is of The NegaDrive, where SoniKorrupt used to work.
>>> I use this channel to be myself; I'm a solo artist
> The rip plays multiple overlayed, re-edited copies of the edited "Here We Are" track from UNDERTALE that was used in the Kirb: Nightmare in Funland teaser posted on Funland's 4th anniversary.
> The title and track name reference the standard channel description Kirb uses on his own channel. Nightscar's name is listed as the composer and the thumbnail is of Kirb: Nightmare in Funland.
>>> An Adventurous Announcement
> The video plays an ambient droning noise while showing a slideshow of assets related to the event. It shows the SonicKade sona on a green background, zooms in on it, quickly cuts to black. then shows the channel banner, first zoomed in then at full view. It then zooms in to see the yellow dragon a couple of times, then cuts to black again. Finally, it shows another green screen, this time with text reading ". . . . . . . . Album out now . . . . . . . .", ending on another cut to black.
> The track name is a reference to the SiIvaGunner: Rebooted ARG with one of the clues reading the same phrase. All of the single letters given in the Consoles portion spell out a Vigenère-ciphered string, and using the final Consoles text, "SonicKade", as the key, it reads "THANKYOUFORJOININGMETODAY", a thank-you message from Kirb.
NOTES, TRIVIA & MISC.:
> Curiously, several of the thumbnails used in the event have not gained rips of their own, especially the presence of the remade "SWAPKIRB" thumbnail, an abandoned project with songs posted during the 2022 channel anniversary event. It is unknown if these will ever gain rips or original music for themselves to use proper.
