The use of the Yoshi drums is also intended to reference Time Lapse by TheFatRat.

> The rip chooses to reference The Space Jam Charity SLAM! by [SiIvaGunner], opting to superimpose a frequently-used image of Charles Barkley's head over Kade, as well as paste Arial text reading "BARKLEY" over "KIRB" & "SLAM!" over "Fun". The audio is a simple mashup of Space Jam with the advertised track, with attention put onto the scuff in Through the Plains's structure.

In Black Sun, the melodies at 2:01 were replaced with the melodies of Swimming in the Sea, Through the Plains and Boss Bash Battle. The instrumentals are unchanged.

It also suffers from clipping due to poor mixing, but this may be intentional with its presumed "ironic" execution. Similar to the Avicii event, this rip and the following 2 were part of an event themed around the Super Bowl, but it will not get a dedicated page due to a low turnout.

> The rip plays footage of [Scott the Woz] edited to lack Wozniak himself. This parallels the same gag on [SiIvaGunner] where several "Game Over" rips would edit footage to omit key characters. The footage is sourced from episodes selected at random and even plays the outro animation, albeit the blue screen slides down much slower. The buzzing noise is from Sonic Mania at the end of Studiopolis Zone Act 2.

The rip also includes gameplay with a visual edit; Weird Mario has been recolored to resemble 7 Grand Dad, and a small star was added to his special pose.

As well, the rip includes gameplay with edits; the Big Boo has been recolored brown and a mailbox was sketched into the background, referencing the joke's source.

Credits from Kirb: Adventure in Funland is heard at 1:56 with Through the Plains heard multiple times elsewhere.
