It's safe to say I'm a creative guy. Sure, lore is fun, but what about these projects I
keep namedropping? Individual chunks of lore? Here's some titles you might see.
Let's get the big one out of the way.
Kirb: Nightmare in Funland has been in development since early 2021.
Kurson, Chisk & Asriel get brainwashed by a parasite named Nightscar.
They hide him away and force him to be a vessel for Nightscar's growth,
but Kade was strong enough to overpower it from within. However, still
under its influence, he uses its powers as means to an end:
Killing his own creator.
Necro and Twilight are able to make a potion to cure the other three.
Meanwhile, Kade snatches me out of the real world (introducing a proper
sona/self-insert). After I'm able to escape, I meet up with the others to
track down Kade. We find and interrogate him, then land a fatal hit that
releases Nightscar from his body. Afterwards, we refresh ourselves and
transition to the future, rebooting the timelines once and for all.
Kade and I both used the name "Kirb" before I renamed him in 2018.
Since Funland was made the year before, it stuck with the name since.
Brings it full circle, funnily enough.

Then, there was rebirth.
Kade's Adventures Through the Multiverse & My Little Pony:
A Whole New Universe are how the stories would've continued past KNiF.
Necro and Twilight split away and everyone lives new lives. The reason
for this- and making KNiF at all- was to let my lore be self-contained.
On one path, Kade becomes a hero after being gifted with Sonic's
powers. He meets Kurson and learns more about other worlds, eventually
finding Chisk & Asriel and founding a rescue team. On the other, Necro
brings Twilight out of Equestria, but has trouble sending her back. The tables
then turn and he's brought back with her. From there, the story carries on.
The NegaDrive is an archive of and research group for SonicKade2048.
Their goal is archiving & researching my characters & worlds in-universe.
They document as much as they can with the power they have, mostly being
omni-present. To be clear, I don't have an ACTUAL public (or private)
archive of everything I've made; this is just a fun meta idea to show off.

That said, what about Funland itself?
In reality, Funland was made for two reasons:
1. Making high-quality rips with my own music
2. Making a horror project with my characters
In-story, Funland is a simulation made by the brainwashed trio,
holding Kade in a sloppy 2D Mario replica so Nightscar can build.
Kade finds ways to wake himself up, but the team fights back.
This bubbled over when Nightscar mutated, creating a second Funland
out of nowhere. It's theorized there was excess power that needed to
go somewhere. Funland kept mutating as time went on, but
Return and Adventure stayed as the main two titles.
On September 28th 2021, Kade was strong enough to break free.
The others couldn't catch him, thus starting Nightmare in Funland.
