Many locations within the Chaotiverse are brought in from other game/media franches. However, some areas have been edited to make a more "original" layout for the game. Some locations on the overworld map, known as the Gamble Galaxy, have never recieved areas within the game, though. Other locations were once in the game, but are currently taken out. Below is the current layout of the galaxy.

Popstar is the only area within the Gamble Galaxy to have a set of inner areas to choose from. Otherwise, all non-transparent locations on the map accessible though their marked teleports.

- EARTH & RELATED AREAS -

Peach's Castle	Main Area, Open	One of the main areas used for roleplaying. The outside and inside are near-replicas of the Super Mario 64 maps, with added details and better textures.
Maytown	Main Area, Open	A hub area originally found in Adventure Forward: Star Savior. Secret areas are hidden around the map, but none are able to be entered in the Chaotiverse, except for the sewers.
Guertena Art Gallery	Sub-Area, Open	An art gallery from the game Ib, containing artwork from the game as well. The layout is mostly the same, but the upper hallways were extended to fit the painting to the Fabricated World, as well as a pipe to Peach's Castle.
Star World	Sub-Area, Closed	A large, star-shaped continent hidden within the ever-night skies. Rather than be Super Mario World's land, it contains all areas from SM64, and a few others.
Star Road	Main Area, Closed	Supposedly, this was a direct copy of Star Road from the SM64 ROM Hack of the same name (Super Mario 64: Star Road). It never recieved an area within the Chaotiverse, however.
The 4th Dimension	Unknown Area, Closed	A whole-other dimension similar to Star Road. It first came to be in MarioMario54321's YouTube series, but has only been used in the Chaotiverse as a "nod" to the dimension aspect.

- POPSTAR LOCATIONS -

Green Hill Zone	Connected Area, Open	A portion of Green Hill Zone, connected to Prism Plains and Castle Dedede. It's unknown how it got there, but the main Green Hill still remains on South Island (also in the Chaotiverse).
Prism Plains	Connected Area, Open	A portion of Prism Plains, connected to Green Hill Zone and Castle Dedede. It, GHZ, and CD sit within the center of Popstar, being a large landmark of the Chaotiverse.
Castle Dedede	Connected Area, Open	Connected to Green Hill Zone and Prism Plains, Castle Dedede sits on a lower platform in this large area. It only contains the fighting arena and the spectator stands, however.
Green Greens	Main Area, Open	The classic pathway from Kirby's Dream Land, full of lush scenery. Kirby's house resides here, as well as the bridge to Tetromino Tower.
Tetromino Tower	Sub-Area, Open	A strange facility that stands as the tallest structure in the Chaotiverse. It's home to the people who own and run it, having Tetris blocks sitting outside and inside in various spots.
The Spire	Sub-Area, Open	The Spire (also known as The Tower) is a tall structure that's part of Tetromino Tower. It houses "The Sun", a lightbulb from OneShot, at the peak, providing light to Popstar. The Angry Sun, however, gives light to Earth.
The World Machine	Sub-Area, Open	A room within The Spire that leads
Cookie Country	Main Area, Open	The easy-to-break rocks may be what give this land its name, seeing how they can crumble like cookies. As well, there's a large cave in the middle of the path, requiring people to walk through it in order to proceed.
Frank's House	Mini Area, Closed	A house owned by Frank, an OC in the Chaotiverse. It floats with large propellers on a chunk of the landscape, but after some time, it was removed from the Popstar map. No one knows a clear reason as to why.
Battleship Halberd	Mini Area, Open	A large airship styled after the myserious Meta Knight. Despite what the map shows, it flies around sometimes, its residing base undisclosed to all. The weaponry on it is not to be messed with.
Emerald Hill Zone	Main Area, Open	A large, open grassland with loops to run through and space to dash across. While it may be vacant, it's connected to Chemical Plant Zone, allowing for more access room.
Chemical Plant Zone	Sub-Area, Open	The pink water may not be harmful, but you're still able to drown in it. The buildings themselves are all owned by Dr. Eggman, though this may be the only place he resides in the Chaotiverse.
Matryoshka City	Main Area, Open	Matryoshka City is a city centered around this Vocaloid song, with matryoshka dolls placed circular around Pierrot Clocktower. While the tower is closed, the Vocal Gate Bridge still connects to Emerald Hill Zone.
Bubbly Clouds	Main Area, Open	The clouds above the Chaotiverse -- as well as large, structural towers -- hold this place together. The cloud being Kracko, and their descendant, Kracko Jr., live here, though they're not kind to strangers...
Angel Island	Mini Area, Open	A small, water-surrounded island to the west of Green Hill Zone. Some say it used to be floating in the sky, though nobody has proof of such. A human named Adeline lives here, having an easel.
Float Islands	Main Area, Open	A set of connected islands that lead towards Castle Lololo. Even including the cave, the area is quite small, but the castle's towers still reach quite high.
Castle Lololo	Sub-Area, Open	While it's not an actual castle, these two towers sit strongly in the waters of Float Islands. The blue-topped castle is what leads people to the pink-topped one, having ladders and platforms to climb. The second tower holds the actual battle arena.
Little Planet	Main Area, Open	While it's its own area in the Gamble Galaxy, Little Planet is chained to Popstar a la the way it was in Sonic CD. All of the areas are SUPPOSEDLY here, but only Palmtree Panic exists as of 2/20/2020.

- GAMBLE GALAXY AREAS -

Pac-Maze	Extra Area, "Open" (TO BE CHANGED SOON)	While the area has been unused for a long time, it's mainly because nobody knows how to access it in-roleplay. The Pac-Maze hasn't had proper accessing in the lore, so it's just "existing" for now.
Egg Reverie Zone	Extra Area, Open	A floating platform with minor decoration. It serves as the battlefield of Sonic Mania's true final boss, but in the Chaotiverse's lore, has barely been touched.
The RUINS	Sub-Area, Open	This is a large recreation of The RUINS from UNDERTALE. It's nearly the same, but the balcony area is sealed off, and the perspective room has a minor edit due to how ROBLOX works. It's within Popstar... somewhere.
Block World	Extra Area, Open	A recreation of the Block World from Yume Nikki. The perspective may be weird, but at least you always have an exit. A door resides here that links to another behind the area of Mario's House.
Masada's Spaceship	Extra Area, Open	A small area hiding in the emptiness of space. The inside looks futuristic, with circular, white rooms and strange, post-modern furniture. Seccom Masada-sensei lives here, alone, but the dust on the piano shows of absense...

- MISCELLANEOUS AREAS -

Warp Zone	Unknown Area, "Open"	In the lore of the Chaotiverse, one toot on the Warp Whistle will send the user and cohorts to the Warp Zone. However, it was never documented in the lore as "used". It's used as fast travel out-of-character.
Ashley's Mansion	Hidden Area, Open	A blue Warp Pipe is in the very back of the Peach's Castle courtyard, and it will take the entrants to Ashley's Mansion. Be careful, though, she's got a bit of a temper with her magic...
Azure Caves	Hidden Area, Open	An almost-similar recreation of the caves from Mario & Luigi: Partners in Time. The Time Hole was replaced with a Warp Pipe to Maytown, and Fawful's shop was replaced with a Super Mario Bros.-like Warp Zone.
Mario's House	Sub-Area, Open	A tall platform surrounded by other platforms and hills holds the house of the Bros. With a couple of working Warp Pipes, and a secret door to the Block World, it's quite cozy.
Maytown Sewers	Sub-Area, Open	It may be gross, but it's quite expansive. The currents can sometimes drag you around, but you'll need some way to power through that, and the filth. The shield pedestals are de-activated, and the buttons don't work.
The Moon	Mini Area, Open	The floating rock that orbits Earth. It's pretty desolate, having not a lot to look for.
Hill	Sub-Area, Closed	A blood-stained, straight path of Green Hill Zone. It's been removed for a couple of reasons, but not many people decided to go there during the time it was open.
