Welcome to BERRYTALE, a re-imagining of the hit indie game UNDERTALE. This story tells a tale of Kade "the Shy Guy" Berry as he explores a vast, underground world. It takes place in a hidden civilization right under his own homeland, the Mushroom Kingdom, and it treats Kade to a new adventure that he has never expected to find himself in before. Meeting the same faces in different forms, Kade will surely feel at home and far away in this forgotten story. This, my friends, is the one and only BERRYTALE.

The hero. The helper. The apprentice.
Kade Berry is a 17-year old Shy Guy with his whole life ahead of him. He started small, and is now a shining icon among his friends. He's in search of his parents, as they have been long gone ever since he was one year old. Now, he has found himself in a new world, looking to escape and return home. His journey will be a tough one, but he'll make it through. Kurson Berry is known to be Kade's "big brother" of sorts; he's helped Kade in times of need, protected him from harm, and overall has helped Kade get to where he is today. He's a bit off, though, as he is constantly serious about everything and doesn't seem to enjoy having fun. Even with this, Kurson is trying his best to live life as he wants. Chisk Slone is a human from another world; originating in their own Alternate Universe for UNDERTALE, Chisk was transported to the Mushroom Kingdom through an accident that occured in their world, and Kade and Kurson found them unconcious in a field. They have been somewhat cautious of their surroundings, but are also short-tempered, able to get angry easily and lash out in a... let's just say, serious manner.
