  <INF> Description
>>> Viru, colloquially known as Viru the Virtual Assistant, is the main narrator of Kirb: Nightmare in Funland and one of the unique characters who lives beyond the 4th wall (minus The NegaDrive Staff). She is designed with a fully-red monochrome palette, wearing a dark-red hoodie that has spiky patterns on the ends of the torso and sleeves. Her hair is bright, short and very pointed, and her skin is a lighter, pink-ish red. Her pupils are rectangular while her sclera are very dark-red. Her pants are slightly darker, and she wears bright shoes with a large V arched over the front. As an extra tidbit, her initial inspiration was /v/-tan, one on many pseudo-mascots of 4Chan, though at first glance it isn't obvious.

  <INF> Backstory
>>> Viru lives in her own pocket dimension that encapsulates her digital power. She used it to openly communicate with the (admittedly, non-existent at the time) viewers of KNiF and describe how they could help save Kirb. The plan was to format KNiF as an ARG where solved quizzes and puzzles could be forwarded back to Viru and progress the story with. However, due to a lack of participants, the ARG portion fell through after just 2-to-3 days and cancelled KNiF on the spot. This meant Viru lost the purpose she was made for, going MiA until the future.

  <INF> Abilities
>>> Viru has no large-scale powers aside from interacting with objects and systems beyond the 4th wall. Both Viru & Kade had their own accounts on Twitter in 2021 to go along with advertising KNiF, which we archived [here].

  <INF> Miscellaneous
>>> Viru was given a backseat after KNiF lost its steam. She made sparse appearances in art and showed up in a short scene for KirBirthday '23, but has not had major story relevance yet. She has spent her days "retired" (as jokingly called by, and) hanging out with a then-new OC Kirb created named [Tiffature]. The two jump from website to website for the sake of hobby, not staying put for too long and always looking for ways to kill time.
